Necton Parish Council meets usually on the second Monday of the month.   In addition the Parish Council hosts an Annual Parish Meeting, where local organisations have the opportunity to update the audience on their activities of the past 12 months.  This is usually held in May.

Occasionally, if business requires (for example an urgent planning matter) the Parish Council will hold an extra meeting.  Notice of this meeting will be published at least 3 working days prior to the date.

Meetings are held at the NRCC main hall on Tuns Road, commencing at 7.00pm.  There is an opportunity to raise a matter with Councillors during or after the meeting privately.  There is also an opportunity for members of the public to raise matters during the Public Participation Session, usually held after item 3 of the agenda.  This gives people the opportunity to raise a matter pertinent to the agenda that can be considered subsequently in the Councillors discussions and decision-making.
